Roadway to heaven

Backdrop of the Brindabellas

There's a place that we know where all that glitters is water of a roadway. And we're building a roadway to heaven.

A certain irony exits in this decidedly bucolic scene under the shadows of the Brindabella Range. Flowing by the property is the lifeline of Canberra, the diverted river that provides water for the citizens of Canberra.

Many people in their hundreds of thousands rely upon this sliver of silver painted pipeline.

But few give a thought as to how this water actually gets here. The environment gets a minuscule thought in the process of daily life.

And yet it is our environment that provides our source of livelihood. Trees add to the quality and quantity of water the residents of Canberra are able to receive.

Trees form this roadway to heaven.
