Our Community Catalogue

There are many types of species inhabiting the Green Corridor. We wish to compile an extensive catalogue of all animal life within this area, be it native or exotic. In addition we will be conducting studies into detailing the ecosystems that support these animals with research on establishing the conditions to stimulate the return of native species.

This site will be changing on a weekly basis as more information is produced. However bear in mind that the information gathered here is provided by volunteers at their own expense and thus will not be rapid in production. There are literally tens of thousands of species to map, each taking a great deal of time to compile. As with all things regarding nature, patience is required.

That does not mean that you need be a mute observer. If you would like to contribute to this community profile you are more than welcome to call Joy and we will set you up with a project or if you want to assist on a project, then we will find you a project which you will enjoy. The more people who contribute, the better the resource will be for the Canberra community.
