How to get our forest flourishing.

Branches of our tree business

  • The flora Playtree of the Month

Our regular monthly feature of the most spectacular tree in our corridor.

  • Tree varieties along the Cotter Road green corridor

This is a gradually evolving dictionary of native plant varieties which thrive along the Cotter Road arm of the Green Corridors. This will gradually build up into a comprehensive directory freely available to the public. The work of information collection is solely the work of may hard working volunteers. The dictionary will not be exhaustive for new varieties will be found all the time.

  • Planting trees and shrubs concentrating upon varieties indigenous to the green corridors.

This is a basic guide detailing the best practice in tree planting. While ideas differ in minor details, these methods have proven to work reasonably well for most people.

  • Drip Irrigation hints and parts.

Drip irrigation techniques are required to be skilfully learned due to the dry conditions experienced on our continent. Drip irrigation is seen as the best method of bringing water to plants. Gone are the days of inundation irrigation through flooding or overhead sprinklers.
