I've just planted one

This is how you plant a tree

Steve Guth, one of the inspirers of the Green Corridor idea, shares his skills to a group of volunteers.

"Correct tree planting techniques with good follow up care is the secret to good tree propagation," says Steve as he demonstrates the practical results.

"Of course, one of the most essential items," warned Steve in a grave voice with menacing undertones. "The most essential item for successful tree planting is a blue bucket like the one I am holding. You will notice that there is another on the ground. These are to be always used. Blue buckets give the best result in any photo opportunity."

With a majestic sweep of his hand and a shake of his grizzled head, Steve went on to point out the reason why the green bucket was stacked in the white bucket.

"Green buckets are only useful for carrying stakes like the ones in this bucket."

Steve gasped with horror as he tried to spit out the next statement. The taste of bile was strong in his mouth.

"And white buckets," shuddered Steve with his hands trembling, "are the most worthless. They are only good for carrying water and other buckets."

Tomorrow Steve promised to demonstrate why a white VW ute is far more superior that a green VW ute.
